Cloud watching is a portal, and a decision to take a break, to slow down, to observe the ever-changing beauty above our heads. Colours, shapes, structures: there are worlds up there.\u003cbr\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eLike water, clouds are slippery things, and hard to capture. Painted fabric, hand-sewn ribbons of contrails, rays of light and dancing colour, reflections on water, and the solidity of the horizon are all elements. I tried to capture height and depth, expanse and reach, darkness and light to give the piece complexity.
