Steampunk, the first of the Colouring Outside the Lines Series, is a pared down approach to improv, leaning hard on contrast. This piece suggests a rollicking dance, or an oddball contraption with many moving parts. Its energy and playfulness made it easy to name (doesn’t it remind you of a Rube Goldberg machine?).
